Elite Construction and Grading, Inc. is a family-owned and operated business and was founded in 1995 as a division of Elite Trucking Company, of Maysville, North Carolina. The company split from Elite Trucking, Inc. in January 2001. Principal ownership has been in the Construction Industry as a sole proprietor since 1965. Prior to 1965, earlier generations of the Adams family owned sawmills and a logging company that dates back to 1921 in Surry County, North Carolina.

Today, Elite is divided into three (3) divisions: Sales/Estimating, Administration, and Construction Operations. The company currently employs approximately 45 Individuals and owns over 5 million dollars worth of heavy construction equipment.

Elite Construction and Grading's main shop and yard is located at 13515 NC Highway 210, in Rocky Point, North Carolina, with it's office facilities at 2901 North Kerr Avenue, Wilmington, NC. The company’s facilities include approximately two acres on the southwest corner of the intersection of Interstate 40 and NC Highway 210. Elite proudly serves Southeastern North Carolina, including Brunswick, New Hanover, Pender, Duplin, Onslow, Jones and Craven counties. Elite Construction offers turn-key civil site construction including: Clearing, grubbing, removal of debris and vegetation, full site grading, installation of water, sewer, and storm drain, excavation of ponds, building of roads, and grading of lots.
